This Facility is a 19-bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH). The employees at this facility are a dedicated team who work together to deliver the best possible care for their patients. Since they have a longer length of stay, the staff has the opportunity to get to know patients and families. This facility believes spending quality time makes a difference. As a “hospital-within-a-hospital,” they're a separate yet fully licensed acute-care hospital with the ability to provide intensive and complex medical treatment. Their specialty programs are specifically designed to meet the needs of long-term, acute-care patients. At this facility, they take pride in the care the staff provides for patients with an average length of stay of 25 days in a variety of specialty programs.  

Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of all patients ranging in age from 18 years to geriatric. He/she is also responsible for the overall direction and supervision of all patient care during his/her shift. Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to carry out the nursing process when providing care to patients. Satisfies the established standards of the nursing practice. Supervises and delegates patient care tasks to LVN, CNA/PCA and other patient care team members. Promotes teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.


• Current RN license to practice in state of Texas.

• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification and ACLS certification.

• 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care hospital setting required.

• Critical care experience preferred.
