WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The QA Specialist will be responsible for the overall accuracy and quality of completed DHP credentialing files. This position will ensure integrity in the Staff PM as well as the OnBase systems is maintained.  Works closely with Division Leads and Credentialing Specialists to correct deficiencies found in completed credentialing files and items contributing to non-compliance. 

  • Ensures at least 50% of all completed files is reviewed and audited for accuracy by ensuring all division and facility requirements are met
  • Responsible for reviewing 50% of completed files against Staff PM and OnBase to ensure the data entered in these systems is reflective of the file being audited
  • Assists Division Leads to fulfill requests to assemble electronic files for QRS or JC audits.
  • Preserve established production metrics while maintaining high quality standards
  • Effectively commit all completed files to OnBase imaging system
  • Creates appropriate reports and ensures notices are sent to all DHPs with expired documentation on a 30-60-90 days intervals
  • Maintains accurate records of all files in Staff PM system and precisely records all activities in the diary
  • Creates ad hoc reports as requested
  • Maintains privacy and confidentiality (intentional or unintentional) of company and employee information in verbal, written, and electronic form. Limits access to all information to job-related on a need to know basis
  • Participates in special projects as needed and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Notifies respective Supervisor of problem-causing trends with vendors on items needing attention
 

Job Requirements

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and independently
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, general office products
  • Ability to learn new software programs
  • One to three years in a related field.
  • Prior QA experience preferred, Prior Credentialing preferred

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

High school education or GED Equivalent Required
