Fantastic opportunity for an Operations Director at a beautiful facility located in the Arlington, VA area.

Job Summary:

Operations Director is primarily responsible for ensuring adherence with the MR function of the Contractor. OD will be in direct communication with the Program Director and provide technical assistance to the staff, as necessary.

Qualifications:

Operations Director shall possess a combination of experience meeting the following criteria:

• A minimum of three years of experience practicing nursing as a licensed Registered Nurse

• A minimum of three years of supervisory/managerial experience in the health insurance industry, a utilization review firm, or another health care claims processing organization involving medical and coding reviews of a variety of medical and surgical claims from a variety of provider types

• Extensive knowledge of the Medicare program, particularly the coverage and payment rules

          - Production and administrative management experience.

          - Experience with the structure of complex healthcare business activities, Medicare-related, with a strong customer service background.

          - Minimum of four years in a supervisory/management position.

          - Minimum of four years clinical experience in a medical/surgical setting.

          - Minimum of four years’ experience in medical/utilization review or fraud investigation.

          - Minimum of four years’ experience in Medicare prospective payment systems.

Expertise with determining medical review responses on medical review decisions based on Medicare coverage and reimbursement policies.

Education, Licensure, and Certification:

          - Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

          - Current Registered Nurse Licensure

          - Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) Certification
