Located in the heart of Atlanta, hospital is a community-based, acute care teaching facility with more than 1,000 physicians spanning 28 specialties. Since 1908, the hospital has served Atlanta residents and patients from all over the Southeast. Today, the hospital is recognized nationally for its work in cardiology and heart-related diseases, as well as reconstructive surgery, maternal and infant care, orthopedics and gastrointestinal diseases. Hospital Has 529 beds, including 86 ICU beds, a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and four hyperbaric oxygen units.

Position Summary: 

Responsible for enhancing the patient experience by providing a seamless navigation process from diagnosis to survivorship. Responsible for collaborating with physicians and members of the interdisciplinary teams to triage, coordinate, and consistently manage patient care by educating, providing a link to research, serving as the primary point of contact for patients and families and providing indirect patient care. Works with patients and families to answer questions, provide emotional support and solve issues concerning the cycle of care. The candidate would be under the Oncology unit

Qualifications: 

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; 
  • BLS & BSN required.
  • Two years as an Oncology RN experience required
  • 1 year case management preferred.
