This is an entry-level position – New Grads Welcome. Prepare to make your mark in the Healthcare Industry as a nurse recruiter.  We’re looking for several qualified candidates to join our expanding team in Nashville, Tennessee as Travel Recruiters.  If you’re the right candidate, you are focused, sales-minded, curious, agile, and competitive with the ability to effectively communicate.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Travel Nursing Recruiter, You Will:

  • Deliver high quality nurse & allied travel candidates to HCA Healthcare and other leading healthcare facilities.
  • Hunt and source qualified nurses, screen candidates, negotiate compensation packages, market candidates in an effective manner to hiring facilities.  
  • Act as an advocate for your candidates.
  • Provide support, foster an effective and collaborative relationship while assisting with your candidate’s successful and satisfactory completion of their assignment.

Job Requirements

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

  • You will actively seek, identify and pursue travel nursing candidates within your assigned territory
  • You will develop a growing pipeline of travel nursing candidates by effectively leveraging a large variety of recruiting resources.
  • Generate and actively recruit referrals from current and former travelers by promoting our substantial referral bonus program.
  • With our support and training, you will meet or exceed established goals.
  • All HealthTrust Recruiters communicate with Hospital Program Managers regarding availability, open positions, and assignment changes. You will too!
  • Collaborate with other departments (Housing, Credentialing, Onboarding, Payroll) to ensure that your travel nurse begins assignment on time and is well supported throughout their tenure.
  • Maintain the accuracy of all traveler information in our proprietary Applicant Tracking System.
  • Keep consistent contact with your travelers while providing a high level of customer service by troubleshooting, and problem-solving challenges as they occur.
  • You will participate in collaborative conversations with your leadership and partner with the Director of Travel on any issues which arise pertaining to your candidates while on assignment.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES – This position requires the following minimal requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment;  persuasive and upbeat
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and tasks
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team environment
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal, organizational and follow-through skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with travelers and employees with diverse personalities
  • Basic computer knowledge such as MS Outlook, Excel and MS Word
  • Maintains working area and equipment in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.

 

EDUCATION – High School or GED equivalent required

 

EXPERIENCE – 1-3 years of recruiting experience required, preferably within Healthcare.
