Job Description

The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for data uploads within HWS credentialing systems.  This position will also take Customer calls that are escalated for Tier 2 support. The Specialist will ensure proper notification is sent out to all DHPs whose uploaded credentials do not meet requirements.  Works closely with DHPs and Department Leads to correct deficiencies and items contributing to non-compliance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Will complete a minimum of 80 uploads per day. This will also include additional work to primary source licensure and certifications.
  • Will take receipt of emails that require a Tier 2 support
  • Preserve established production metrics while maintaining high quality standards
  • Update received current credentials within five business days
  • Effectively commits all received credentials and approvals to OnBase imaging system
  • Maintains accurate records of all files in HWS credentialing system and precisely records all activities in the diary
  • Creates ad hoc reports as requested
  • Maintains privacy and confidentiality (intentional or unintentional) of company and employee information in verbal, written, and electronic form. Limits access to all information to job-related on a need to know basis
  • Participates in special projects as needed and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Notifies respective Manager and/or Lead of problem-causing trends with vendors on items needing attention

Job Requirements

  • Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, general office products

EDUCATION – High school education or GED Equivalent Required

 

EXPERIENCE – One to three years in a related field or office experience in a related field

 

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE – None

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Requires prolonged sitting. and exerting up to 10 lbs force occasionally
  • Requires and some bending, stooping, and stretching
  • Require eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.
  • Require dexterity to type at least 60 WPM
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, general office products
  • Work is performed in an office environment and involves frequent contact with staff and the public.
