Fantastic opportunity for a Cardiac Cath Lab RN at a beautiful facility located near Brownwood, TX.

Regional Medical Center is a 188-bed acute care facility that has provided competent and compassionate care to the Central Texas area since 1969. Our services include inpatient care, a level four emergency care department, women’s center/obstetric unit, sleep lab center, heart center/interventional cardiology (Cardiac Cath Lab) cardiac rehab, Walker Cancer Center radiation/medical oncology/hematology, surgical services, gastroenterology lab, outpatient surgery services and a hospitalist program.

Position Summary:

The Cardiac Cath Lab RN will circulate cases, administering moderate sedation, pain medication, and any other medications ordered by the physician during the procedure. Will initiate or maintain drips to manage the patient hemo-dynamically. They will run accu checks, and ACTs. They will obtain any equipment added during the case. They may assist with transporting the patient to and from the procedure, and prep the patient.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of one year experience in coronary care, progressive intensive care, or related field of cardiac nursing preferred. 5 years of critical care experience is acceptable.
  • Education – Graduate of a school of professional nursing.
  • Must be a licensed RN. Both BLS and ACLS required
