The Instructor Coordinator assists the StaRN recruiter, hiring managers and new employees with communication during their onboarding process and orientation.  Responsible to inventory and track all instructor resources needed for the StaRN program including PC, phone, uniforms, access, equipment. Assembles new hire orientation packages for instructors. Manages the Instructors payroll information and approves time in Kronos.

  • Facilitates a seamless new hire on-boarding process for new and existing StaRN Instructors
  • Act as a key contact for all issues related to on-boarding and monitors progress
  • Provides continual professional contact with the new hire on instruction for onboarding /Orientation requirement
  • Tracking pre-employment screening status such as background checks, drug screens;
  • Act as a resource for new employee's general questions;
  • Ensure all required onboarding paperwork is complete and filed
  • Works closely with recruiting and credentialing department
  • Assists with Orientation preparation for new hires
  • Assures all Hardware, Security Access and Applications access is requested and assigned
  • Updates and maintains Instructors and infrastructure employees tracking systems
  • Receives Instructors time worked through Timekeeping system and approves weekly
  • Verifies Instructors timekeeping records and consult employees about any discrepancies
  • Receives Instructors time worked via Time Tracking systems and review for accuracy and completion
  • Ensures all compliance requirements are kept updated
  • Ensures all Healthstream Assignments are completed by due date
  • Assures all newly hired infrastructure employees have the correct setup and access prior to starting.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel, Ability to execute tasks independently.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive data.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills to handle multiple tasks in an environment with large volumes of data and paperwork.
  • Significant attention to detail required.
  • Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment..
  • Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills with good vocabulary, good grammar and a passion for excellence in customer service
  • Displays professionalism through sound judgment, initiative, flexibility, and attention to detail

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Ability to appropriately prioritize tasks and provide detailed documentation/ follow ups (time management)

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required; College Degree or coursework preferred
